Invincibelle Spirit
Two things I hold near and dear to my heart. I love hydrangeas and gardening plus anytime a product that supports breast cancer research I tend to snatch up quickly. This beauty donates money to breast cancer research for each plant purchased. The invincible spirit of women is no match for that awful disease. I can't wait till the day that disease is eliminated!

Another Check-up down!
I've passed another check-up with another all clear. I am once again thankful for this! This was my second round at 4 months apart. It's good but nerve racking at the same time. But after the lovely humiliation of getting on that scale, I'm going to have to get busy, busy, busy! Gotta lose some weight in a serious way. And then there we are trying to ready our house for the market, usual job stress etc. But then again, there's never a "convenient" time to get it together and do what you need to do for yourself. Time to start making sure I put myself on the calendar!

Pinks of Strength
Being a fan of anything pink, I guess if I was going to get cancer the breast cancer kind was the one. Thank goodness it's a pink ribbon! With all the confusion going on right now with the wacky new recommendations about screening it's making me see red! But those of us who've been down that road, diagnosed a decade or two before they even recommend checking... I think we'll stay vigilant and encourage our sisters, mothers, daughters and friends to do the same.
I can't help but think the insurance industry has some finger or two in this pot and their stirring it in their favor to reduce coverage and costs. I'm not a cynical person but I'm telling you something about this whole thing has a huge stench! So I encourage my sisters bound by that pink ribbon. Use your women's intuition, it's far better than anything any panel of paid monkeys can give you. As always you must be your biggest advocate!
I'm a big fan of the Warriors in Pink by Ford. They're message is a great one and it started the same year I was diagnosed. Be a fighter and look good doing it in our cool PINK stuff. Someday I will own that black Mustang with hot pink stripes down the side. Thank you Ford for joining the fight and making us girls look even more tough!
